Blue Cruise Twin Falls

- Kristin explains her workout schedule to Jim
Jim and I went down to Twin Falls for the Blue Cruise on Saturday, May 30. They had a turnout that they were pleased with, 145 people. I think it was the first Blue Cruise in TF. We met Kristin Armstrong early, before the ride. She said she had no problem leaving Boise at 5:30 because of her jet lag. She returned home Monday after riding in the Tour de l’Aude Cycliste Feminin in France.

- Kristin is going to lead the riders in the TF Blue Cruise
Kristin rode with the 50 mile group of riders. I couldn’t keep up with them all the way to the turn around down in the Snake River canyon. I did get to the stop in time to have her autograph my jersey and pose for a photo.

We saw two riders from Hailey, Gary and Sandy. There were lots of riders from TF, Burley and some from Boise, too. We had a good ride and the lunch was good, too. Kristin gave a nice talk and answered questions from the audience of riders during lunch. We learned more about her Olympic experience in Beijing last year and her favorite race (Tour of Flanders). If you want to meet a good rider and get inspired about biking, go to a Blue Cruise with Kristin! I’m ready to ride more and harder.
